The Chasiv Yar and Uman communities continue to work closely together as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
The humanitarian center “My Chasiv Yar in Kyiv,” together with the Oseredok Charitable Foundation, transported another resident of the Chasiv Yar community, who found herself in difficult life circumstances, to the Uman Veterans’ Home. Like many other residents of Chasiv Yar, she was forced to leave her hometown. Yevheniia Andriivna was brought to the facility, where she is provided with proper care and support.
Currently, 23 residents of the Chasiv Yar community are living at the Uman Veterans’ Home. These are people who lost their homes due to the war and were left without the support of their families. The war changed their lives, but it did not take away their hope.
The Chasovoyarsk City Military Administration sincerely thanks the Uman community for its compassion, humanity, and the shelter provided.
Side by side, we support those who need it most, and once again prove that no one’s misfortune is someone else’s.
