Dnipro hosted a summer open armwrestling tournament that brought together 20 of the strongest athletes from Donetsk and Dnipro regions.
Donetsk region was well represented at the competition by athletes from Dobropillia, Hrodivka and Pokrovsk, who won prizes in their respective weight categories:
- Vadym Nikitenko (Pokrovsk community) became the champion in the 85 kg weight category and the winner of the absolute weight category;
- Vadym Haidoba (Dobropilska community) - 3rd place in the 100 kg weight category;
- Dmytro Pshenytsyn (Hrodivska community) - 3rd place in the weight category up to 80 kg.
The performance of the Donetsk region athletes was a vivid example of perseverance, willpower and professionalism, confirming that our region continues to train worthy representatives in strength sports.
