“I had the honor of thanking the warriors of the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade ‘Zaporizka Sich’ for their courage and defense of Donetsk region.
Since 2014 and to this day, the brigade has been giving a worthy rebuff to the enemy and defending our land.
I presented service members with distinctions of the Head of the Defense Council of Donetsk Region — the ‘Defender of Donetsk Region’ badge and the ‘Badge of Honor’ of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Their daily service demonstrates incredible strength of spirit. They left behind peaceful lives to stand in defense of the Motherland, and every day they prove: the true power of Ukraine lies in its people.
