The Head of Donetsk Region congratulated the 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade on the anniversary of its formation and presented the unit’s servicemen with the “Defender of Donetsk Region” badges and awards from the Head of the Donetsk Regional Defense Council.
Although the brigade is still relatively “young,” it has already gained extensive combat experience, while its soldiers have demonstrated true heroism and dedication in holding back the enemy, including in Donetsk region.
The brigade has been forged in battles on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka fronts. During the time the unit has been defending our homeland, the soldiers of the 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade have demonstrated their professionalism, patriotism, and readiness to defend the country even under the most difficult conditions.
“I am grateful to every soldier on the frontline, every officer and sergeant, for the contribution they make every day to the defense of Donetsk region!” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
