Ensuring the functioning of communities is a daily joint effort of the state and local authorities.
“Today, together with community leaders from Donetsk region, we worked at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, particularly during the panel ‘Dialogue Between Communities and the Government.’ For us, this is an opportunity not only to voice problems but to discuss concrete solutions.
We talked about comprehensive resilience plans, protection of critical infrastructure, development of distributed generation, and stable heat and water supply. For Donetsk region, these are fundamental issues: they determine whether communities can live, work, and remain resilient even under constant pressure.
A separate focus was placed on the speed of decision-making and implementation. In our conditions, delays always mean risks for people.
The Congress demonstrates that coordination between the government and communities can be direct and effective.
