The educational institution is currently operating in Zakarpattia.
On 1 September, it is particularly important to see our children at their desks, alongside their teachers, classmates and new friends from Zakarpattia. For schoolchildren who were forced to leave Kramatorsk because of the war, the opportunity to study in person and maintain a vibrant school environment is of particular significance.
The head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration spoke with pupils and teachers and inspected the construction of a shelter. Together with the mayor of Perechyn, Ivan Pogorilyak, and the head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, Vadym Filashkin presented gifts to the Year 1 pupils and donated sports equipment to the school. They also took part in a masterclass on balanced nutrition, where the children prepared healthy burgers themselves.
The lyceum’s teaching staff were honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Donetsk Regional State Administration for their dedication to their profession and their work during the war. He also thanked Serhiy Bilyk, head of the non-governmental organisation ‘Our Home in Perechyn’, for providing information to support our fellow countrymen and for helping to bring together internally displaced persons who now live in Zakarpattia.
