The head of Donetsk region joined an extraordinary meeting of the headquarters for the preparation of housing and utility facilities and the fuel and energy complex for the 2025/26 autumn-winter period, as well as ensuring their stable operation under martial law. The meeting was held under the leadership of representatives of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
The main issue discussed was the formation of a national reserve of decentralized power generation equipment for the needs of critical infrastructure facilities.
In conditions where the enemy deliberately destroys our infrastructure, we must be ready to ensure the uninterrupted operation of centralized heating, water supply, and sewage systems.
It is especially important that significant attention is now being paid to the needs of frontline communities, where the risks associated with active hostilities can cause the greatest damage to infrastructure and civilians.
The participants defined a sequence of actions to support the stable operation of vital systems.
