Together, they presented awards from the Ministry and the Donetsk Regional State Administration to education professionals — those who, even in the most difficult conditions, continue to teach, support, and inspire our children.

They also inspected one of the renovated shelters and held a substantive meeting to discuss strategic mechanisms for interregional cooperation in ensuring the continuity and quality of education. Special attention was paid to the operation of relocated educational institutions, the needs of students from internally displaced families, and issues related to teachers’ salaries.

“I am sincerely grateful to Mr. Oksen for this visit and for supporting our region — this is very important for our educators, our children, and Donetsk region.

Today, we also had an open and heartfelt conversation with students who are studying remotely in Donetsk schools. The children shared their achievements and the challenges they face during online learning, spoke about adapting to new conditions, and admitted how much they miss home. Our task is to do everything possible so that, even at a distance, they feel support and care.

We also focused specifically on the relocation of educational institutions from the Kramatorsk community to Zakarpattia region. This is a comprehensive relocation — from kindergarten to university.

Education in Donetsk region continues to function — despite the war, challenges, and constant threats. And we will keep doing everything to ensure that our children have a future,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
