The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, met with Member of Parliament Pavlo Frolov to discuss the protection of the housing rights of residents of the Donetsk region who have lost their homes due to Russian aggression, as well as the implementation of the eVidnovlennia (eRecovery) program by local communities.
Particular attention was given to the challenges of inspecting destroyed housing, reviewing applications, and determining compensation. In many communities, on-site inspections are impossible because of ongoing hostilities, making it essential for remote assessment mechanisms to operate efficiently, accurately, and without unnecessary delays.
"Following the meeting, I signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the Dialogue of Communities Charitable Foundation. The memorandum provides for the involvement of sector experts, consultations and training for commission members, analysis of their work, and the development of practical recommendations for local communities.
I thank Pavlo Frolov for his attention to the challenges facing the Donetsk region and for his willingness to help find effective solutions.
Behind every application is a family that has lost its home. Our task is to help people restore justice and regain confidence in the future," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
