As part of efforts to promote inter-community cooperation and physical fitness and health initiatives, and to mark Environment Day, a joint “Healthy, Active, Eco-Friendly” plogging marathon was held with the participation of residents from the Velykonovosilkovska and Teplitska communities. The event was organized as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
Plogging, as a modern form of activity, united participants around the idea of environmental responsibility, combining physical activity with practical actions to keep communities clean. Participants joined the initiative by combining walks and jogs with litter collection, demonstrating an example of conscious civic engagement.
Holding such joint events is an important element of partnership between communities, contributing to the development of a culture of responsibility, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and the strengthening of community cohesion. The implementation of such initiatives confirms that by joining forces, communities achieve greater results and bring about meaningful changes for their residents.
