Our household receives a housing subsidy for utility services. In May, the subsidy amount was reduced. Was the payment adjusted correctly?
Yes, it was.
ℹ A housing subsidy for utility services and apartment building management costs is granted until the end of the heating season and is calculated separately for the heating and non-heating seasons.
At the same time, the subsidy for the heating season is calculated based on the official duration of the heating period — from October 16 to April 15 inclusive.
That is why the housing subsidy for April, which was paid in May, was lower than the amount paid in April (for March). This is because the subsidy for centralized, autonomous, or individual heating (heat supply, natural gas supply and distribution, or electricity used for heating) was calculated using social consumption standards for only 15 days of the heating season (April 1–15 inclusive).*
Important!
According to the established rules, housing subsidies are paid in the current month for the previous month.
