This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and head of the regional military administration.
This morning, the Russians fired on the village with “Smerch” rockets equipped with cluster warheads. A shell struck a private home. Among the dead was a 13-year-old girl.
A single strike took the lives of an entire family.
The Russians are fully aware of where and with what they are striking. The use of cluster munitions against residential areas is a deliberate attempt to inflict as many casualties as possible among civilians.
Once again, we appeal to parents: do not risk your children’s lives. Do not wait for the next shelling, and do not hope that the enemy will spare your home. Evacuate in a timely manner!
Adults are responsible for the safety of children. Evacuating today is a decision that can save their lives.
Our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those who have died.
