To ensure they don’t waste a single second at the critical moment, the rescue dog handler and his four-legged partner are constantly refining their coordination.
During training, they practice skills for locating people trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings. Each training session helps the rescue worker and the service dog act even faster and more seamlessly, because in a real emergency, human lives often depend on the speed of the search.
An equally important part of the training involves exercises focused on teamwork, building trust, and unconditional obedience. The rescuer and their four-legged partner learn to act as a single unit, because only complete coordination, mutual understanding, and trust enable them to work effectively under the most challenging conditions.
Behind every successful search are hours of persistent training, daily work, and a strong bond between the human and their four-legged partner.
