Entrepreneurs in frontline communities work under constant challenges every day, yet they continue to grow their businesses, preserve jobs, and provide essential services to local residents.

One such example is the Animal Health Center in Kramatorsk. For many years, the veterinary clinic has helped local residents care for their pets and, despite difficult conditions, continues to improve its services.

Svitlana Bondarieva, Director of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, visited the clinic and met with its owner, Victoriia, to discuss further opportunities for cooperation with the Employment Service.

The business owner took advantage of the government's Own Business grant program and received a microgrant to expand her business. The funding enabled the clinic to purchase modern laboratory diagnostic equipment and create new jobs.

In addition, the clinic benefited from the government's compensation program for hiring employees, providing further support for maintaining and expanding its workforce.

Government support helps entrepreneurs become more resilient and continue making an important contribution to the life of their communities.
