One of the priority areas of work for the IDP support centers "WeTogether" in the Kramatorsk district, located in the cities of Dnipro and Poltava, is to pay attention to the youth, who have great potential, enthusiasm, and energy.
The scientific event for teenagers — "Mysterious Chemistry," which took place within the "Educational Space" in Dnipro, was a true festive mix of science, magic, and joy, where teenagers not only had fun but also explored the world of chemistry in an interesting, safe, and exciting way. Our young researchers observed an incredible chemical show — the birth of Pharaoh's snakes, which erupted right out of the sand, creating bizarre, impressive figures, saw how chemical worms came to life, and created colorful explosions by hand — a true rainbow in test tubes!
The children also created an eco-toy "Bird from cardboard" — light, colorful, filled with meaning, where each participant enthusiastically cut, glued, and decorated with feathers and ribbons, putting their mood and a piece of their soul into the little bird. Such activities help develop imagination, skills, and love for nature. Together, they created a space of warmth and inspiration.
The interactive game "The Magical World of Architecture and Construction. The Three Little Pigs: A Tangled Affair," which took place in Poltava, opened up the world of architecture for children through fairy tales and games. The children not only played but also learned how houses are designed, what they are built from, who works in construction, and why it is important to think everything through well. In a fun and accessible form, children learned to think, imagine, work together, and eagerly discovered new things.
