Deputy Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Yuriy Vinokurov introduced the new head of the Mariupol District State Administration, Oleksandr Panasenko, to the heads of the communities of Mariupol district.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the decree appointing him on October 21.
Yuriy Vinokurov noted that the Mariupol District State Administration should work in three main areas: assistance to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, care for IDPs and support for veterans.
"Mr. Oleksandr and I have been working together for a long time, since he worked in Mariupol. So I know what he is capable of and I am confident that he will cope with the challenges," added the deputy head of Donetsk Regional State Administration and congratulated his colleague on his new position.
The newly appointed head of the Mariupol Regional State Administration thanked for the trust and support and expressed his readiness to work for the sake of Mariupol residents.
Earlier, Oleksandr Panasenko held the position of Deputy Director of the Capital Construction Department of Donetsk Regional State Administration.
