Soldier Volodymyr Bredov died on March 13, 2024, in battle near Avdiivka. He was 20 years old.
He was born in Sloviansk and studied at School No. 20. He was passionate about soccer, practiced judo, and was actively involved in school life. Volodymyr had many friends and always had his own point of view.
After school, he enrolled in the Sloviansk College of Transport Infrastructure, where he obtained a degree in electrical engineering for the maintenance and repair of rolling stock. In 2023, after receiving his diploma, he chose the path of a soldier.
He first joined the Dnipro branch of the paramilitary organization STURM, and later became a legionnaire of the OUN CENTURIA. In November, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, after training in Spain, went to the front. He served as a service number in the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
Volodymyr Bredov was buried in the central alley of the Northern Cemetery in Sloviansk. He is survived by his mother.
At 9:00 a.m., there will be a nationwide minute of silence. The Donetsk Regional State Administration and the Heroes Memorial platform will commemorate the fallen defenders from Donetsk Oblast.
