The life of Oleh Kostiuk was taken by a Russian strike on the village of Yasenove in the Pokrovsk district.
On 28 September 2024, the enemy hit an area near the local shop. Oleh had just stopped by to have a cup of coffee. The shop’s saleswoman and owner were also killed.
Oleh Kostiuk was 45 years old. He was born in the village of Horikhove in the Pokrovsk district. After completing his military service in 2000, he returned to his native village, where he began his entrepreneurial activity and opened a shop. He also worked in agriculture.
“He was sincere, kind, cheerful. He always came to help those who needed it. A loving husband and a good father,” his wife Tetiana said.
Oleh is survived by his wife, two daughters, and his father.
