The journalists, together with the Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yuriy Kliuchka, visited frontline communities to document the extent of the destruction caused by Russian aggression.
During the trip, they inspected damaged residential buildings and agricultural facilities. As a result of constant enemy shelling, many grain warehouses, farms and other facilities that provided jobs and food security in the region were destroyed.
"Every destroyed house or farm is not just an object on a map. These are the stories of people who have lost their homes or their jobs. It is important that the world sees and understands the price Donetsk region pays every day," emphasized Yuriy Kliuchka.
Residents of Donetsk region shared their stories with journalists, including their experiences of occupation, shelling, humanitarian crisis, loss of relatives and de-occupation.
According to the media, the purpose of the report is to convey the truth about the situation in the region to an international audience, to show that Russia's war against Ukraine is not an abstract event, but a tragedy that destroys the lives of thousands of people every day. And it is true that Donetsk region is an outpost not only of Ukraine, but of the entire civilized Europe.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration continues to work to eliminate the consequences of the destruction, organize reconstruction work and provide assistance to the affected communities. Together with Ukrainian and international partners, the regional authorities are doing everything possible to support residents and preserve the region's basic infrastructure, even in the most difficult conditions of war.
