Transcarpathia continues to offer warmth and support to our fellow countrymen. Recently, residents of Donetsk Oblast visited one of the region’s most picturesque spots—the “Rancho Highland” Eco-Park, named after the funny and charming Scottish cows.
The complex is located in the village of Lypcha, in the picturesque valley of the Rika River, surrounded by the majestic Carpathian Mountains. The trip was organized by the “Yednannia” Hub of the Pokrovska MBA in the city of Khust as part of the national initiative “Side by Side: United Communities.”
The visit to the ranch’s petting zoo brought the participants countless genuine smiles and positive emotions. Here, guests were able to see both traditional inhabitants of the Carpathians and exotic animals.
“We were able to see for ourselves that interacting with animals has an extremely positive effect on one’s mental and emotional state. Observing living creatures and their natural behavior helps us take our minds off anxious thoughts and daily worries, even if just for a little while. We sincerely thank the ranch owners for their hospitality and the Khust City Council for making this unforgettable trip possible,” said Viktor Hrytsak, the hub’s director.
The tour participants also visited a unique snail farm. Here, they raise a special breed, Helix Aspersa Maxima, which is impressive in size (up to 45 mm and weighing up to 30 grams).
This sunny and warm day left behind many vivid memories, giving the residents of Donetsk Oblast moments of peace of mind, comfort, and connection with Ukrainian nature.
